Chrissi island is located about 15 kilometers south of Ierapetra is 7 kilometers long and 2 kilometers width and what is make it special is the extreme beautiful beaches with white sand and light blue cristal clear water that makes you think that it might be not real and of course the the largest natural Lebanon cedar forest in Europe From May till october are many ships that doing daily cruises to the island and the most of them depart the ierapetra port beetween 10-11 in the morning , the tickets cost about 20-25 euros both ways depend the ship and 1 euro per person charge the City of Ierapetra for the protection of the island. in high season are 2 beach bars on the island one at the north and one at the south coast are also umbrellas with sunbeds with extra charge….of course the island is big enough and will be enough space for your own umbrella in case you want to bring your own shadow!
